Wie ben ik en wie is die ander? Als jij mij duwt, duw ik jou. Of zullen we samen… Hip Hop Hoera The Remix is een interactieve hiphopvoorstelling over jezelf zijn, anders zijn en met elkaar zijn. Een voorstelling over ik, jij en wij. Durf je iets te vragen aan een ander? Kun je de ander ergens mee helpen? Je hebt elkaar nodig, maar hoe doe je dat? Maker Honey Eavis: “Het gevoel voor community staat in deze tijd onder druk, dus vind ik het belangrijk om juist kleine kinderen ervan bewust te maken dat je samen sterker staat.”

Hip Hop Hoera The Remix is een krachtige en vrolijke voorstelling, maar laat ook ruimte voor gevoel. Een voorstelling waarin kinderen vol overgave meegaan, een speelse uitnodiging vanuit de aantrekking én de sociale waarden van de hiphopcultuur. Honey Eavis doet niet kinderachtig of cliché over hiphop en voert ouders terug naar hun eerste hiphopontdekkingen. Met drie fenomenale urban dansers, prachtige en kleurrijke animatiefilmbeelden en originele interactievormen.

Three phenomenal urban dancers shake and groove in a humorous hip hop production all about you, me and we. Who am I, who are you, and can we form a group? Exploring friendship, being yourself and being different.
